In this video tip, I challenge you to think of the root cause of your disorganization. When I ask people why they think they are disorganized, I hear a variety of reasons:
- I was born this way
- My spouse makes me disorganized
- I have teenagers
- I can’t say “no” to others
- I don’t have enough time to get everything done
- I’m so overwhelmed I don’t know where to begin
When identifying the cause of your disorganization, I encourage you to dig deep. Go beyond the obvious and ask the tough questions. If you can’t say “no”, why can’t you say no? Is there a particular person that consistently takes advantage of the fact that you can’t say no? If so, what are you going to do about it?
