What’s your definition of what it means to be organized?

Everyone has different standards and values by which they live by. And everyone defines what it means to be organized in different ways. When I ask my audience members to provide me a definition of what it means to be organized, I love hearing what they come up with. Here are a few examples:

  • I pay my bills on time
  • I know where important documents are such as birth certificates and passports
  • If I get audited, I can easily find the past 5 years of tax-supporting documents
  • I am on time when getting to the office or arriving to meetings

Check out this video tip:

Throughout life we will experience a variety of seasons in which our standard of being organized changes.  Yes, we will always want to pay our bills on time. But we may not always be able to get our taxes done by April 15th due to an unexpected diagnosis or other life-changing event we’re living through. And I’ve learned that’s okay.
